How does ZigMate work?

Users browse profiles of people based on their profile details and their preferences and like and dislike profiles.

Is it free to sign up for ZigMate?

All the basic features on ZigMate are completely free: Love, Pass, and messaging with matches.

What is the minimum age requirement for ZigMate?

The minimum age requirement for ZigMate is 18 years old. If you are not yet 18, you can join and start using ZigMate once you reach this age.

How do I create an account on ZigMate?

You can create an account on ZigMate by downloading our free app from the Apple App Store for iOS users or from the Google Play Store for Android users.

How do I restore my account or log in from a different device?

To restore your account or log in from a different device, enter the login credentials you used during the registration process.

Is there a ZigMate app for PC?

There is currently no ZigMate app available for PC.

How do I manage app notifications?

You can manage your app notifications by going to Settings and tapping on "Notifications".

Why am I not receiving push notifications?

Ensure that push notifications are enabled for ZigMate in the app's Settings (Settings > Notifications) and your registered device's settings. If the problem persists, contact us at support@zigmate.com.

Is there a "dark mode" option?

Yes, you can enable "dark mode" by locating the option in the Settings menu (Settings > Appearance and Display > Dark Mode).

How can I log out of my account?

To log out of your account, go to Settings, select "My Account", and then tap "Logout".

How do I edit my profile?

To edit your profile, navigate to your profile and select "Edit" at the top right of the screen.

Where can I change my name or Registered number?

You can change your name or Registered number in the "Edit Profile" section. Simply tap on the respective field that you wish to update.

How do I change my age?

You can change your age in the edit profile section.

How do I remove my height from my profile?

Scroll to the top until nothing is selected, then press the "Continue" button.

How can I adjust my preferences for who I'm "Looking For"?

In the "Edit Profile" section, you will find the "Looking For" field, which you can adjust according to your preferences.

How do I delete or manage my photos?

You can manage your photos in the "Edit Profile" section. To delete a photo, tap the "x" icon on the top right corner of the photo. Please note that you are required to have at least one photo on your account.

How do I change my profile picture?

Go to "Edit Profile" and upload your picture with the plus symbol.

Can I add videos to my profile?

In the current versions of ZigMate, you can't upload videos.

Can I change the language setting of the app?

No, you can't change the language of the ZigMate app in the settings as of now. We may add this feature soon.

Location
How do I manage my location visibility?

ZigMate has access to your registered location so whenever you move to a new location, ZigMate will show user profiles around you.

On Android:

a. Open your device's Settings app.
b. Tap on "Apps & notifications."
c. Find and tap on our app.
d. Tap on "Permissions."
e. If "Location" is not currently enabled, tap on it, then select "Allow."
f. If your location settings are correct and the issue persists, please contact us through the "Send Feedback" option in Settings on the app, or via email at support@zigmate.com.

On iOS:

a. Open your device's Settings app.
b. Scroll down to our app and tap on it.
c. If "Location" is not currently enabled, tap on it, then select "While Using the App" or "Always."

Matching on ZigMate
How does matching work on ZigMate?

To match, visit the match page to see profiles you might be compatible with. Customize filters to find your type. Like a profile by clicking the green heart. If you and another user have sent love to each other, you'll be matched and able to chat on WhatsApp.

How many matches can I have per day?

We show you unlimited compatible souls each day for free. Additionally, you can send unlimited requests to your matches and interact with others.

How do I change my filter settings or matching preferences?

You can adjust your matching preferences, including gender, relationship type, age, personality type, and distance, in the filter settings by tapping "Filter" on the top right of the Match screen.

Can I reset my matching preferences?

You can reset your matching preferences by selecting the reset icon located in the upper right corner in the filter menu.

Can I rematch with someone I accidentally unmatched?

You can search for the user using their details in the search bar to reconnect with them.

How can I see who sent me the request?

Navigate to "Requests", then tap "Received".

How do I send a friend request to another user?

Change your matching preference to only "Friends" to send Loves as friend requests.

How can I increase the number of matches and requests I receive?

Quality is important when it comes to your profile. Use high-quality photos and express yourself in your bio. The more you show off your personality, the greater the chance that you will meet your compatible match. Engaging with the community in the social feed is another way to demonstrate your personality and get noticed by people with similar interests to you. Profile verification also helps build trust, so your potential matches know you really are who you say you are.

Can I search for a specific person on ZigMate?

No, you can't search for a specific person on ZigMate.

Messaging on ZigMate
How can I chat on ZigMate?

If two users swipe right accidentally, it's a match and now you can chat in the chat section using WhatsApp messaging.

How can I avoid sharing my details if I did not like the match?

You can delete the profile of the matched user if you did not like the match. The profile would be deleted for both users, and it won't be a match anymore.

Can I unsend the request?

You can delete the request from the send request section. The request would be deleted for both the sender and receiver.

Can I delete multiple messages at once?

We currently don't have this option, but improvements are in progress.

Why do matches or requests sometimes disappear?

A match or request may disappear if the other user unmatched you, deleted the request, deleted their account, or was banned from the platform.

Will my messages be deleted if I delete and reinstall the app?

No, messages will remain in your account unless the corresponding user is unmatched or banned.

Will the other users need to have a subscription to see my message?

Users can view your messages without using a subscription, users need ZigMate pro subscription to initiate chat.

Can I send a second direct message to a user who did not accept my request?

No, a second direct message will not be sent.

Can I hide inactive requests?

You can delete a chat by swiping it to the left and selecting "delete".

Where can I see the requests I've sent?

Navigate to "Requests" and tap "Sent Requests".

How do I delete a pending sent request?

Navigate to "Chat" and "Requests", then tap "Sent Requests". swipe right of the profile you want to delete and tap the "delete".

Can I report a user for inappropriate behavior or content?

Yes, to report a user, tap the three dots in the top right corner of the chat, post, or profile, and select "Report soul". Follow the onscreen instructions to submit your report. Our support team will review your submission.

What is ZigMate Pro?

ZigMate Pro is a premium subscription designed to expedite your journey to finding meaningful connections and chat.

What features does the ZigMate Pro subscription plan include?

ZigMate Infinity subscription includes Chat on WhatsApp with your matches.

How do I subscribe to ZigMate Infinity?

In the app, go to the side menu and tap "Become ZigMate Pro." On the web, navigate to "Home" in the side menu and click "Activate ZigMate Infinity" on the right side of the screen.

How much do ZigMate Pro subscriptions cost?

The pricing for ZigMate Pro subscriptions can be found in the relevant section of your profile. Prices may vary based on your location.

How can I cancel my ZigMate Pro subscription?

While we are unable to directly handle subscription cancellations or issue refunds, you can easily manage this through your respective App Store or Google Play settings. All payments, refunds, and subscriptions are processed through these platforms.

What should I do if my purchased subscription isn't appearing in the app?

If your purchased subscription doesn't reflect in the app, please contact us at support@zigmate.com or reach out through ZigMate chat support via the "Send Feedback" option in Settings. Provide us with your email address linked to your App Store or Google Play account, along with the Order ID. We are more than happy to assist you.

I haven't received the OTP to register.

Ensure your registered number is correct and check your WhatsApp and Inbox to see OTP.

What should I do if I'm experiencing other login issues?

If you're unable to log in to your account, please verify your internet connection. If the issue persists, don't hesitate to contact us at support@zigmate.com.

What should I do if the app keeps crashing?

Start by checking your internet connection. If that's not the issue, try deleting and reinstalling the app to fix any glitches. If the issue persists, contact us at support@zigmate.com with your registered number, and we will investigate the problem.

How do I update my registered number?

In order to change your registered number, delete your existing account and create a new ZigMate account.

What should I do if I have missing purchases?

Open Settings and the "My Account" menu and select "Retry Pending Purchases". You might need to sign in with your App Store or Google Play account. Make sure you're logged in with the account you used to make the original purchases. If this does not fix the problem, contact support for further assistance.

What should I do if I have duplicated or incorrect charges?

For duplicated or incorrect charges, navigate to Settings and select "My Account", followed by "Retry Pending Purchase." If the issue persists, contact support for assistance.

Why is my preferred payment method not working?

First, double-check for any typos in your payment information, ensure the card is activated and has sufficient balance, and that your billing address is correct. If the issue persists, contact us for further support.

How do I update my payment information?

Updating your payment information varies depending on the platform you're using:

App Store:

a. Open the Settings app on your iOS device.
b. Tap your name, then tap "Payment & Shipping." You might need to enter your Apple ID password.
c. To add a payment method, tap "Add Payment Method." To update an existing one, tap "Edit" at the top right and then tap the payment method.

Google Play:

a. Open the Google Play Store app.
b. Tap the profile icon at the top right, then "Payments & subscriptions" and then "Payment methods."
c. Follow the prompts to add a new payment method or edit an existing one.

Why are my requests not accepted?

You will get notification when your request will accepted, although it totally depends on may user can accept or can delete your request based on their interest.

Why I'm not getting matched?

You will get matched when you right swipe someone and they swipe you right back, if you are not getting matched may your profile are not looking so interesting to other users. Additionally, keep the right swipe profiles so you have more chances to get matched.

What is the effect of a temporary ban on an account?

A temporary ban on an account restricts the user's ability to perform certain actions, such as sending messages, posting content, or leaving comments. These bans can arise as a result of our system automatically detecting content that goes against our community guidelines or as a result of users reporting offensive, inappropriate, or underage profiles or posts.

Why am I seeing profiles I've already declined?

You may see someone's profile again if they deleted their account and decided to come back, or if you've been swiping with poor network connection.

What should I do if I encounter a bug or error not covered here?

To report a bug, please send an email with your registered number, app version, and a screenshot or video of the issue to support@zigmate.com.

How can I report to another user?

To report a user, click the three-dot icon on the top right of their profile, post, comment or chat, and select "Report soul". Choose the relevant reason and provide additional comments if necessary. We aim to review your report as soon as possible.

What if I suspect someone is impersonating me?

If you suspect impersonation, please do the following:
Take a screenshot of the profile, and make a note of the user's Registered number
Click on the three-dot icon and select "Report soul". Follow the on-screen instructions.
Email us at support@zigmate.com with the screenshots, the user's Registered number, and a description of the issue.

Why do you need my location information?

Your location helps us show you souls in your vicinity, fostering local connections.

How can I hide my account or take a break from ZigMate?

You can make your profile invisible by "Hide Profile" option in Menu Settings.

Why was my account temporarily banned?

A temporary ban occurs when a user's profile or posts contains material that is against the ZigMate Community Guidelines, or if they were reported by other users within the community. A temporary ban lasts 24 hours, after which you will be able to use the app as normal.

How can I appeal if I have been banned?

To appeal a ban, email us at support@zigmate.com with your request and any relevant details.

How do I delete my account?

You can permanently delete your account by visiting Settings and selecting the "My Account" menu.
Alternatively, if you wish to temporarily hide your profile, the option to "hide profile" is also available in the Account menu.

What does "Hide Profile" do?

When you hide your profile, your profile will no longer be visible to users, meaning any users will not be able see your profile.

What does "Hide Packages" do?

When you hide your packages, your packages will no longer be visible on your profile to users, meaning no users will be able send you request although your profile would be still visible and users would able to swipe you right.

How can I delete my account without receiving any notifications and ensure no one can view my profile?

To fully delete your account and prevent any notifications or visibility, first turn off all notifications in your notification settings and pause your account in the account settings. Your profile will not be visible to anyone, and if you do not log into your account again, it will be completely deleted 30 days later. You will receive an email notification shortly before the final permanent deletion of your account is performed.
If you wish to have your account deleted immediately, initiate deletion through the app, and then email support@zigmate.com with your registered number and the associated email address. Please note that this step is permanent, and it will not be possible to recover any of your account information, chats, or matches afterward.

How can I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions purchased through the app are handled by the App Store or Google Play Store, for iOS and Android devices, respectively. You can cancel your subscription through the settings in the App Store or Google Play Store.
